New Ward maps approved for Bloomington

In July, the City Council approved the redistricting map for the City’s nine wards. The new Ward maps go into effect after the municipal elections in April 2023. Ward 9 will consist of the following precincts: 14, 34, 36, 38, 43, and 49.

Population shifts had caused previous districts to become imbalanced. The new map balances the Wards.
